Throughout the year many items are recovered by the Penn Hills Police Department and held at the police station for safekeeping. Most of these items go unclaimed, and there is no way to determine their ownership. If you have lost a piece of property recently, there is a possibility that it was found and turned over to us.
Please contact Lieutenant Michael McGuire at (412) 342-0929 to determine if your property was recovered, and to make arrangements to claim ownership. You will be asked to provide a detailed description of the item to ensure that it is yours.
